Product Description
This rare, dwarf variety of white pine has blue and white needles and dense growth. It is a Pinus Parviflora yatsubusa variety. Yatsubusa means short needles and short internode spacing plus multiple budding at branch whorls. This one also has the ability to set buds between branch whorls. They have been grown from the start specifically for bonsai. It has a low graft that will completely disappear with age. It has been wired, pruned, styled, and root pruned for bonsai. It’s about 10 years old. HxLxW (from root base): 15 x 14 x 9 inches. Lower Trunk: 1 to 1 1/2 inches. Root Base: 3 to 4 inches.
